OUR MINISTRIES
The Providence Church of Christ provides a number of ways people can be involved in the congregation and the community. Whatever your gifts, there is a way for you to serve.
Prayer
We offer a number of prayer services throughout the year, and have an active prayer ministry for our members and the Webster County community at large. We believe prayer and the work of God is our greatest focus.
Worship
The Church of Christ offers a vibrant and heart-felt worship service each time we meet. With a capella singing, weekly communion, Bible study, and practical sermons, we are focused on glorifying God and living out our faith in daily worship.
Sunday school
We offer classes for newborns to our wisest congregants. The instruction is Bible-based and focuses on the needs of the individual age groups.
Youth
One of our most active ministries, the youth program offers Wednesday night youth group, Children's Bible Time on Sunday mornings, and Vacation Bible School.
Individual Bible Study
We are always open to studying the Bible on-on-one with those who seek to learn more about God's word and what its application to our lives means. If you are interested, please contact us.
Community service
Our congregation is very involved in the Providence Community Food Center, Inc., which was founded by our minister, Chip Palmer. We are always looking for volunteers, and hope to build a relationship with those who come and help the needy in our community.
